Text to Cursive

Plain text in, cursive out: as text to paste or as an image to download.

Text to cursive in one step

Type or paste plain text and it becomes cursive as you type. Copy a style for bios, usernames and messages, or open the Font previews tab to download the same words as a picture in a real cursive font. Both are free, run entirely in your browser and need no account.

Which result to pick

Copy-paste styles are Unicode characters that look like script. They stay editable and paste anywhere, but they are drawn by each device's own fonts, so the exact shape varies and a few old devices show boxes. Bold Script survives most often because its range has no gaps. Font images look identical on every screen and in print, and you choose the exact typeface, colour and resolution, but they cannot be edited as text afterwards.

What stays the same

Spelling, spaces, digits, punctuation and line breaks all pass through unchanged. Styled text is the same length as plain text in characters, though it takes more bytes, which matters only on systems that count bytes.

Beyond a single line

For names with initials, a signature-style render and a printable practice sheet, use the name generator. For a paragraph or a caption with line breaks, the text generator handles long input and copies every style at once.

Common problems

Empty boxes after pasting mean the receiving device lacks a font for those characters; pick a different style or send an image. Styling that vanishes when you save a profile means the platform filtered it; usernames are far stricter than bios. Screen readers spell styled characters out as symbols, so keep cursive to decorative fields and leave your handle plain.
