Nearly two hundred cursive and handwriting fonts, every one published under the SIL Open Font License, every one measured. Each font page shows the face on your own text, the metrics that decide how it behaves (join class, x-height, slant, swash extent), the licence facts with a link to the source file, and three similar faces. The filters above narrow the list by join class, category, flourish and x-height band; the category pages below curate the best faces for a job.
How to choose
Decide what the text has to do before you look at faces. A wedding invitation wants a formal, joined script that still reads on a place card: Great Vibes and Allura. A sign or a shirt wants weight and presence: Pacifico and Lobster. A cutting machine wants solid strokes and welded joins: Sacramento first. A note or a caption wants a casual hand: Dancing Script, Caveat, Kalam. A classroom wants an instructional face with the joins schools teach, never a display script, which is what the worksheet generator uses. Whatever the job, preview your own words at the size they will be used; capitals vary far more than lowercase between script faces.
What you can do with them
The images you make here, PNG, SVG, PDF, can be printed, sold on goods and used in logos without a fee or attribution. The font files themselves stay under the OFL: install them from the source linked on each font page rather than from a repackaged bundle, and do not sell a font file on its own. Copy-paste cursive for bios and captions is a different thing, Unicode characters rather than fonts; the text generator covers that.
