What the guides are built from
Every stroke description on this site comes from the same letter data that draws the animations and prints the worksheets, so a guide and a practice sheet never disagree about how a letter is formed. The join rules are one model for the whole site, stated on the letter pages and used on every name and word page. Where a guide makes a factual claim about schools or laws, the state tracker holds the source.
Practising
Reading about cursive is not practising it. Each guide ends with the sheet to print next, and the worksheet generator prints any name, word or sentence with traced and dotted rows in US Letter or A4.
