How to write Happy in cursive

Start with the capital H: two tall downstrokes joined by a small loop at the middle, the second ending in a tail. Its tail runs straight into the a, so the pen stays down. The a is an oval closed at the top, then a downstroke on its right side that exits at the baseline; it runs from the baseline straight into the p. The p is a short upstroke, a downstroke below the baseline, then a bowl drawn back up that closes on the baseline, and the double p is written as one movement. The second p follows without a lift and runs from the baseline straight into the y. The y is an upstroke to the midline, a trough, then a downstroke that loops below the baseline, and its exit stroke finishes the word.

Nothing is added after the word: there is no i, j, t or x to dot or cross. A common slip in Happy is leaving the lower loop of y open, which turns it into a tall v with a tail.
