Playwrite IT Moderna is a school script by TypeTogether, Veronika Burian, José Scaglione, published under the SIL Open Font License. It is fully joined: every lowercase letter connects to the next. Its x-height is tall at 52 percent of the em, so the lowercase is large and reads clearly at small sizes. Strokes are plain, with swashes that stay within the letter (swash extent 0). The stance is a slight right lean at about 3 degrees. It is a variable font (wght 100 to 400), so the weight slider in the generator changes the real outlines rather than faking bold. It suits classroom materials, handwriting worksheets, certificates.
