What Bubble Letters text is

Bubble Letters looks like each letter inside its own circle, like a keycap. Each letter is replaced by a different Unicode character from a block of enclosed letters and numbers meant for lists and keycaps. Every one of the 52 letters has a styled form, so nothing stays plain. Digits are styled too. Because the characters are part of Unicode, they paste into any field that accepts text and keep their look without a font being installed; what they cannot do is be restyled by a font menu.

Where Bubble Letters works

People paste Bubble Letters into gaming names, Discord names and comments where they want to stand out. Bios and display names on Discord, Roblox and Steam often keep it; Instagram usernames and most sign-up forms reject it; older phones show boxes for some of the characters. Screen readers read the enclosed or lookalike characters one at a time, so it is for decoration, not information.

How to use Bubble Letters

Type your text in the box; Bubble Letters updates as you type, and the related styles at the foot of the page show the same text for comparison. Press Copy on the Bubble Letters card, then paste into the app with a long press on a phone or Ctrl or Cmd and V on a desktop. If the app shows empty boxes, the device has no font for these characters; if the text reverts to plain letters on save, the field filters them, and a different style or an image from the font generator is the way round it.
