Hazel in Cursive

Start with the capital H: two tall downstrokes joined by a small loop at the middle, the second ending in a tail. Its tail runs straight into the a, so the pen stays down. The a is an oval closed at the top, then a downstroke on its right side that exits at the baseline; it runs from the baseline straight into the z. The z is an upstroke to the midline, a small hump with a point at the baseline, then a loop below the baseline; it closes its lower loop at the baseline and rises straight into the e. The e is a small loop drawn from the baseline up through the midline and back down; it runs from the baseline straight into the l. The l is a tall loop that returns to the baseline, and its exit stroke finishes the word.

Nothing is added after the word: there is no i, j, t or x to dot or cross. A common slip in Hazel is skipping the point at the baseline of z, which turns it into a loose g.
