The short version

Text you type into the tools is processed in your browser and is never sent to our servers. We use cookieless analytics and set no cookies, and the only personal data we hold is an email address you give us on purpose.

Generation runs in your browser

Every tool on this site, the text converter, the font renderer, the handwriting simulator, the image exporters and the worksheet generator, runs as code in your browser. The words you type, the names on a worksheet and the files you download are created on your device and never leave it. Every page is generated in advance and served by our own server; that server never receives what you type into a tool. The one planned exception is a server-side PDF fallback for devices that cannot compose a worksheet locally; it is disabled, and this page will say so if it is ever enabled.

Analytics

We use Umami, a cookieless, self-hosted analytics service (analytics.contentcreators.com), to count page views and to record which tool features are used, such as "copy" or "export as SVG". It stores no cookies and no personal data: a visit is a short-lived hash of your IP address, browser and the site id that cannot be reversed. The address-bar link that carries your text and settings is never sent to analytics, nor is anything you type, upload or paste. Events carry only the feature used, the style, font or format chosen, the section of the site, your device class (phone or desktop) and the site theme.

Email

If you request the Cursive Starter Pack, we add your email address to our list at EmailOctopus, which sends the pack and, later, occasional emails about new worksheets and tools. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and unsubscribing removes you from the list. We also keep a copy of the address and the page you signed up from in our own database so we can measure which pages people sign up from; unsubscribing removes that too on request. We never buy or sell lists.

Children

The site does not target children. The worksheet tools are made for teachers and parents, and there are no accounts. If a feature aimed at children is ever added, this policy will be reviewed first.

Fonts, files and third parties

Fonts are served from this site, not from a third-party font service. Downloads are generated in your browser. Links to source repositories and licence texts go to GitHub and the SIL website.

Your rights and contact

You may ask what we hold about you, which is at most your email address and sign-up page, and ask for it to be deleted. Write to the address on the contact page. This policy was last updated on 2026-09-05.
