Backwards Text Generator

Mirrored letters as copy-paste text. Effects built from combining marks, mirroring or spacing rather than replacement letters; the most likely to be stripped by apps. 22 characters have no styled form.

What Mirrored text is

Mirrored looks like each letter flipped left to right and the text reversed, as if seen in a mirror. Each letter is replaced by a character that looks like its mirror or rotated form, drawn from several blocks, and the order of the text is reversed. 30 letters have a distinct form; 22 letters look the same either way, so they stay as typed. Digits stay as typed. Because the text is reversed, it reads correctly only when the whole string is pasted; cutting it in the middle scrambles the order.

Where Mirrored works

People paste Mirrored into Instagram bios, TikTok names, Discord names, captions and invitations. Bio, caption and display-name fields keep it on most apps; username fields on Instagram, Roblox and Steam reject it. Screen readers announce the characters as mathematical symbols or skip them, so keep the plain spelling somewhere a reader can find it.

How to use Mirrored

Type your text in the box; Mirrored updates as you type, and the related styles at the foot of the page show the same text for comparison. Press Copy on the Mirrored card, then paste into the app with a long press on a phone or Ctrl or Cmd and V on a desktop. Letters with no styled form stay plain in the output, so check a word that uses A, H, I before you post it. If the app shows empty boxes, the device has no font for these characters; if the text reverts to plain letters on save, the field filters them, and a different style or an image from the font generator is the way round it.

Styled text uses symbol characters that screen readers announce as symbols.
